FAMILY TRAGEDY
FOUR MEMBERS DEAD MURDERS AND SUICIDE (Received July 2. 8.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 1 Herbert Francis Perkins, aged 43, a letter carrier, of Enfield, killed his wife, his daughter aged 12 and his baby with a trenching tool. A small boy is in hospital in a critical condition. Perkins committed suicide by cutting his throat. Neighbours state that the man had been worrying over a departmental inquiry.
