SUGAR CONVENTION
BRITISH OPPOSITION PRODUCTION LIMITATION LONIDON, June 30 Britain has issued a memorandum in which she refuses to support a draft sugar convention. She contends that tho continued equilibrium of sugar production and tho disposal of stocks are endangered by the continuance of production in countries which are not parties to the 1931 agreement. Tho fundamental object of any scheme must be to limit such production.
