DEATH OF BROOD MARE Having apparently hern struck by one of tlie night trains, a valuable trolling brood mare, five years old, by _ Drusus—Queen Cole, owned by Mr. B. Grice,. of Winslow, was recently found dead on the railway line nenr the Winslow railway station. The mare, who was a half-sister to C'olene pointer, the dam of Village Guy, and had a foal by Travis Axworthy, had broken out of a paddock.
