TRANSPORT APPEALS
EAST COAST SERVICES [nr telegraph—own correspoxdext] GISBORKE, Saturday Two appeals concerning East Coast road services were heard ioy tiie Transport Appeal Board at a sitting at Gisbornc to-day. Mrs. Bertha Wilcox appealed against a decision of the No. 4 Transport Licensing Authority, which reduced her coast run to the distance between Gisborno and Tolaga Bay. Tlia Rubb-Duco service appealed against tho presence of Mrs. Wilcox's buses un tlie road at all. The board comprised iVIr- Justice Erazer and Messrs. Lisle .Alderton (Auckland), and Thomas .Jordan (Masterton).
Evidence, most of it relating to the financial state of the respective services, was heard, and the Court adjourned until Monday.
