KNOCKED DOWN BY TRAM
ELDERLY MAN INJURED CONDITION SATISFACTORY Concussion and leg injuries were suffered by Mr. Frederick Hatfield, aged 76, of Queen's Parade, Devonport, when he was knocked down by a tramcar at the corner of Customs Street West and Queen Street at 8.15 a.m. on Saturday. Mr. Hatfield was taken by a St. John ambulance to the Auckland Hospital, his condition being described as satisfactory last evening.
