CLUBS AT MANGERE The presentation of trophies won by the Mangere Central Club and the Mini pore East Club members lust season was made at a joint function. The president of tho Mangere East Club, Mr. S. W. House, welcomed a large attendance of members and visitors, including Air. R. B. Hardy, president, and Mr. E. W. Griffiths, past-presi-dent, of the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association. In presenting tho Houso Cup to the flange re Central Club, Mr. House said that in the ten years the two clubs had annually competed for tho trophv it had been won by the Central Club for tho last five years in succession, and on seven occasions altogether. The club trophies were presented to the winners by Mr. R. B. Hardy.
