• Taking up the cudgels in defence of women's clothing, Dr. Ada Patorson told the Canterbury School Committees' Association last week that men were too conventional. They had not the courage to be comfortablo. " 1 have seen men in Auckland walking about in the same amount of clothing winter' and summer. 1 admire their tenacity, but I wonder if it is worth it!" she said.
