The Hon. J. A. Young, Minister of Health, left Frankton for Wellington by train last evening.
Professor A. B. Fitt, of Auckland University College, returned by the express oil Saturday morning.
Mr. Ivan Seay, the well-known Chriatchurch tennis player, has left New Zealand on a business trip to England.
Mr. J. W. Clarke, Auckland district manager of the Tourist Bureau, left by the limited express for the South last evening.
Mr. James Smith, superintending engineer of the Union Steam Ship Company, left Wellington by the Marama on Friday for Sydney.
Mr. G. H. Mackley, general manager of railways, left Wellington by the Marama on Friday for Sydney. He was accompanied by Mrs. Mackley.
Mr. W. J. Holdsworth, chairman of the Auckland Electric-Power Board, and Mr. R. 11. Bartley, general manager, returned by the express on Saturday morning.
Colonel J. E. Christoe, of Brisbane, who reached Auckland by the Niagara from Vancouver on Tuesday, sailed for. Australia by the Marama from Wellington on Friday.
Flight-Lieutenant D. M. Allan, chief instructor of the Auckland Aero Club, and Mrs. Allan, returned to Mangere on Saturday after spending a month in the Hawke's Bay district.
Mr. Justice Herdman, who has been presiding at sittings of the Supreme* Court in Hamilton," left by train for Wellington last evening to attend a sitting of the Court of Appeal.
