BRIDGE PARTY
A most successful bridge party was held in the National Council clubrooin on Thursday evening in aid of the council funds. The room looked very bright and cosy with its coloured shades and floral decorations. The convener, Mrs. A. Turner, and members of tho house committee acted as hostesses. Among those present were: —Miss E. Melville (president), Mrs. E. McNair, Mrs. Niels Nielsen, Mrs. H. Colwill, Miss M. Baggett, Mrs. Piggott, Mrs. Dewing, Mrs. W. A. Wilkinson, Miss B. Piggott, Mrs. Bcwes, Miss Rennell, Mrs. Hall, Mrs. A. Mulgan, Mrs. S. Judsori, Miss M. Hamilton, Mrs.' A. Bond, Mrs. Heath-Preest, Mrs. St. Clair Woollams, Miss I. McLeod, Miss A. Walker, Mrs. Griffin, Miss Mclnnis, Mrs. O'Neill, Mrs. J. P. Howden, Mrs. Pankhurst, Mrs. Axford, Miss L. Wright, Miss M. B. Stevenson, Miss L. M. Stevenson, Mrs. A. Wakeman, Mrs. E. A. Tho prize-winners were: —Hidden number, Mrs N.-Nielsen; highest score, Mrs. Michael. Miss Tremain was the i winner in live hundred. >
