NELSON COLLEGE

AUCKLAND OLD BOYS The annual meeting of the Auckland branch of the Nelson College Old Boys' Association was hold last evening, the president, Dr. T. H. Pettit, presiding. It was decided to send messages of appreciation to tho retiring principal of the college, Mr. C. H. Broad, and of congratulation to his successor, Mr. H. v". Searle, The action of the committee in arranging fortnightly luncheons was approved, and it was decided to continue them. The following officers were elected: Patron, Lord Rutherford; president, Dr. T. H. Pet,tit; vice-presidents, Professor F. P. Worley and Mr. T. G. Enright; committee. Messrs. S. It. Bird, A. Black, A. F. Grace, K. M. Griffin, J. B. Strong, and G. H. M. Wills; lion, secretary, Mr. 11. G. Sidford; hon. treasurer, Mr. G. F. Shanle.v; representative on the central committee, Mr. C. B. Hodgson.
