METALLING WORK URGED [>ROM OUR OWN CORRES['ONDENT] WHANCAKEI, .Saturday A resolution urging the metalling of the Manga wai Road for its full length was passed at a meeting of the Whangarei Chamber of Commerce this week. It. had been the intention of the department /to leave a stretch of two miles unmetalled. The chamber also decided to approach th& Minister of Public Works and the member of Parliament for the district, with a view to having the Ornana Road completed.
