ANXIETY FOR LAUNCH
FOUR MEN ON BOARD WELLINGTON FISHING TRIP [by telegraph OWN correspondent] WELLINGTON, Sunday The 35ft: launch Kereru, which left Wellington at nine o'clock this morning on a fishing trip outside the heads, has not returned, although it was expected back by about 5 p.m. There were four men on board, Mr. Arthur Wolfe, who was in charge, Mr. V. R. Prince. Mr. Howard Green and Mr. H. Nagle. The weather outside the heads has been very boisterous all the afternoon and evening and anxiety is felt for the safety of the occupants of the launch. The keeper of the .Pencarrow Lighthouse reports having seen the launch on its way out in the morning. With the strong south-westerly wind blowing at present, little shelter would be afforded the craft on the coast. Efforts arc being made to secure the services of an aeroplane to make a search to-morrow.
