KING'S BIRTHDAY DANCE
FUNCTION AT BAYSWATER There was a good attendance of •dancers at the annual King's Birthclay dance held at the Takapuna Boatang Clubhouse at Bayswater on Saturday evening. A combined committee Was responsible for the arrangements. Among those present were: —Mrs. Harold Carr, who woro a frock of iblack and white crepe suedo with deep Bertha collar; Mrs. Ward, black crinkle crepe; Mrs. J. Verran, black •crepe faille; Mrs. T. Dryland, black ring velvet and beige lace; Mrs. Hislop, pink and blue floral crepe; Mrs. Deacon, primrose taffeta; Mrs. Warner, '.white satin beauto; Mrs. Butler Bennett, sunset-shaded satin; Mrs. Kirk•ham, cardinal red satin and fischo net; Mrs. Bach, navy crepo do chine; Mrs.' J. Edwards, black crepenella; Mrs. i-_:cocV lilno satin beauto; iMass Joy Verran, scarlet satin with "niJK-ic ve'vet cape; .Miss Quirk, yellow •and black appliqued georgette; Miss lYoung, rose pink satin; Miss Hawkes, itango satin; Miss Baldox, almond grren taffeta; Miss Betty Ivil, white satin and taffeta appliqued in red; Miiss Foster, daffodil satin; Miss Marjorie Ward, cameo pink frilled georgette; Miss Lye, rose pink taffeta; Miss Lewis, white and blue sprigged organdie; Miss G. Stepenson, black georgette; Miss Ogilvie, olive green •souple satin.
