WEDDING

NELSON—HOWDEN St. Andrew's Presbyterian 'Church, Claudelands, Hamilton, was the scene of a very quiet wedding on Wednesday afternoon, when Miss Rona Mario Howden, only daughter of Mr. H. H. Howden, of Opawa, Hamilton, and the late Mrs. Howden. was married to Mr. Brian Tunstal Nelson, of Auckland, younger son of Mrs. E. Nelson, of St. Leonards-on-Sea, Sussex, England, and the late Mr. Nelson. The Rev. H. G. Gilbert officiated. The bride who entered the church with Mr. Wilfred Hunt, of Christ-church, wore a charming suit of silver grey shadow corded velvet, with small toque hat to match. Miss Jean Pope of Hamilton, was bridesmaid, and Mr. Hector McFarlane, of Hamilton, was best man. Mr. and Mrs. Brian Nelson will make their home in Auckland. '
