COLLISION ON RAILWAY
TWO ENGINES DAMAGED MISHAP AT !STATION [from OUR OWN COBBESPON'DEXX'I TA'CJPIRI, Y'ednesday The early morning train which conveys the Herald to the Waikato and southern districts mot with an accident at Taupiri this morning which delayed the train for some time. On leaving tho railway bridge that crosses the Manga wara. Stream the train collided head-on with the engine of a goods train which was stationary at the platform on the main line. The cowcatchers of both engines were flamaged and had to be removed before the trains could proceed.
