KING'S BIRTHDAY MATCH WALKER TO MEET NEWCOMER The Auckland Wrestling Association has arranged a, special programme for Saturday evening next as an attraction for its patrons and also for visitors during the holiday carnival period. George Walker has been matched against Jack Chirk, who arrived in Wellington from the United States on Monday in company with Count Vargiy. Bill Perry, and Harry Mamos. Clark is the first member of tlie new team to bo tried against the New Zealand and British Empire champion. Clark is of similar build and weight to Walker and is reputed to be ft very fast worker. If he performs up to his reputation the bout should be most spectacular, as Walker is anxious to maintain the remarkably fine record he has achieved since taking up his residence in Auckland four years ago.
