OBITUARY
WARRANT-OFFICER W. G. BAUER [BY TET/EGRAPJJ —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] WELLINGTON. Wednesday The death occurred in Wellington to-day of Warrant-Officer William George Bauer, aged 38, a member of the permanent* staff of the New Zoaland Forces for 14 years. For the last five years he had been at the headquarters training depot, Trentharu. MR. H. CLEMENTS [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] WHANGAREI, Wednesday The death occurred in the Whangarei Hospital this morning of Mr. Harold Clements, of Hunrnu, in his 71st year. Mr. Clements was born at Kaipara Flats and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Clements. Early in life he took up bush contracting, but about 30 years ago decided to go farming, and moved to Matapouri. A few years later he married and lived at Matapouri until about three years ago, when he moved to Huarau. Mr. Clements is survived by Mrs. Clemonts and two children.
