YESTERDAY'S SALES RETURN ON INVESTMENTS 1* olloi.ving is a list of yesterday's transactions on New Zealand Stock Exchanges;. In tl.xo second column is given the return, liased on the last annual dividend, from investment at the quoted price. In calculating the return on shares in companies which pay their dividends outside New Zealand the exchange rates hato not been taken into consideration. Iho return on 4 per cent Government loans includes redemption. In the case of 3} per cent loans the return is for interest alone, and covers only the period for which the loans are tax-free. No return is given on local body securities and debentures in the meantime.
