PERMITS ISSUED IN MAY COMPARISON OF VALUES Building permits involving £10,478 were issued in May by the Auckland City Council. In the corresponding month last year the value was £14,561 and in May, 1931, it was £13,093. The total for last month included six new dwellings, of which three were for Tamaki, and one each for Grey Lynn, Point Chevalier and Avondale. The balance of the 131 permits were for small alterations and additions.
