PRESS AND PRINTERS' MATCH CLOSE RESULT WITH AUCKLAND Tho animal bowling match between tennis representing the Press and Printers and tho Auckland Club was played on Saturday on tho Auckland preen under good conditions. MOUNT ALBERT'S PRIZE NIGHT Tho annual prize night promoted by tho Mount Albert Bowling Club was held on Saturday evening in the club's pavilion when there was a largo attendance of members and visitors. A short musical programme was rendered in the early part of the evening, the following contributing items:—Misses Mulholland, O. Thomas, Wood, Mrs. Leather, Messrs. Leather, Rutledge, Ivayes (2), and J. Finlayson. Before the supper adjournment the president, Mr. J. P. Lane, welcomed tho visitors, included in whom were the president and past president of the Auckland Centre, Messrs. Raymond Sheath and J. Pascoe. The prizes won during tho season were presented to the following by Mrs. Lane: — Champion smp:lc3, R. Thomas: junior championship, A. Service; handicap singles. R. J. Allely; handicap pairs, J.
