The Governor-General, Lord Bledis. loe, and Lady Bledisloe attended the jubilee reception at the Auckland University College last evening. This morn.ing Their Excellencies will leave for the Rotorua district. They will pay a short vii>;t to the Rotorua Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Show to-morrow 'or on Thursday, but will not thereafter undertake any engagements during their stay until on May 30 the Governor-General will present at Ohinemutu the Ahuwhenua Trophy and prizes in connection with the Maori land development scheme. Their Excellencies will return to Auckland on June 1, calling at Hamilton en route to visit the Waikato Winter, Show.
