COLLIERY EXPLOSION
THREE MINERS KILLED , GAS AFFECTS OTHER MEN (Received May 17, 6.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBI, May 16 Three miners lost their lives in an explosion in the West Cannock colliery, near Hcdncsford, Staffordshire, to-day. Many of the 100 men who were in the pit at the time were brought to the surface suffering from the effects of gas.
