UNWHOLESOME MEAT SOLD [BY TELECRAni —rRESS ASSOCIATION] CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday Charged with selling unwholesome meat, Robert James Taylor, proprietor of a butchery business, was fined £7 and costs to-day by Mr. H. A. Young, S.M. For exposing unwholesome meat for sale ho was convicted and ordered to pay costs. Giving evidence concerning tho condition of the meat, the health officer said it was either very old or else was chilled meat that had been dried off.
