EXCHANGE OF CRUISERS CANBERRA. May 1(1 The cruiser Australia will bo refitted shortly and transferred td the Ito.val Navy in exchange for a Leander typo of vessel, which is coming to Australia. • The Government hopes that when the financial position permits it will have an Australian squadron of four of the Leander class, a flotilla of destroyers, the aircraft-carrier Albatross, which is to bo rccommissioned, as well as survey sloops.
