THE ANNUAL MEETING ' t The balance-sheet submitted at the annual meeting of the Thames branch of the Plunket Society this week showed the financial position to bo sound. Receipts from all sources amounted to £5Bl and payments to £560, The assets of the branch amounted to £l2lß, including £157 held in trust for the Turua sub-branch and £671 in the building fund. Mrs. E. N. Miller was re-elected president. The honorary treasurer, Mrs. Liggins, senior, and the honorary secretary, Mrs. Mackay, were also re-elected. Mesdames J. B. Liggins, Clendon, Sowerby and Gray were elected vicepresidents. The executive committeo was re-elected with the exception of Mrs. McCarroll, who tendered her resignation, but consented to remain a member of the general committoe. r lho members of the advisory board wore re-elected.
