Tuesday While on his way down tho Wanganui River in a canoe to join his wife and children in Wanganui to go on his annual holidays Mr. Daniel Clark, manager of the Ohuraiti station at Kawata, was drowned near Pipiriki this morning. The canoe in which Mr. Clark and a companion, Mr. R. Powell, were travelling capsized in the.rapids.
