PAKURANGA HUNT

MEET AT EAST TAMAKI • ■ SHORT RUNS OBTAINED The Pakuranga Hunt held a meet yesterday under ideal weather conditions, but there were no. long runs. Nevertheless, agood afternoon's sport was obtained. The hunt assembled at the Green Mount estate. East Tamaki, and moved on to Mr'. T. Muir's property and across Mr. R. Ross' back to Green Mount. Hero a hare was 'put up, but after a short run along a gra6s road it was killed. The hunt then moved across to Mr. C. Allen's property, where two hares were sent away, but were killed before they had run far. The hunt drew across to Smale's Mountain, where three hares were put' up. One took the hunt on a sharp run across Mr. P. Cunnold's and Mr. C. Allen's properties and on to the Howick Road, where the scent was lost.
