DISPENSING WITH COAL
IRISH FREE STATE COMPULSORY USE OF PEAT (Received May 15, 0.5 p.m.) DUBLIN. May 14 The Irish Free State Government is making plans for the compulsory use of peat in all homes. It will place an embargo on imported coal except under licence, which will be given only for industrial purposes.
