NEW OIL AGREEMENT
Anglo-persian company TEHERAN, May 2 A new agreement between Persia and the Anglo-Persian Oil Company has been signed. The company agrees to pay royalties of 4s a ton, besides onefifth of its net profits and arrears of £1,000,000, and undertakes to extract 5,000,000 tons a year, and to engage more Persians. Also tho company undertakes to spend £IO,OOO a year upon the education of Persian students in engineering. Tho concession i)j to run for 60 years..
