IYA APPOINTMENT The promotion of Mr. A. F. O'Donoghue, of Dunedin, to the position of station director at IYA is officially announced. Mr. O'Donogliue is expected to arrive in Auckland this morning. Ho has been in charge of 4YA since the New Zealand Broadcasting Board assumed control in January, 1932. Mr. O'Donoghuo has had considerable experience in a wide range of radio activities. ' Mr. C. S. Booth, of tho board's hpad office, who has been actiijg-station director, will return to Wellington shortly.
