SHIPMENTS OF MEAT
FIRST HALF OF APRIL LAMB EXPORT HIGHER Returns just issued by the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board show the following shipments of froj;en meat from New Zealand to the United Kingdom during the period April 1 to April 15:—Beef, 22,518 quarters; mutton, 120,300 carcases; lamb, 636,101 carcases; pork, 8496 carcases; boneless beef, 23,598 bags. The total shipments from New Zealand for the period from October 1, 1932, to April 15, 1933, with the totals for the same period of last year in parentheses, were as follows: Beet, quarters, 120,309 (52,C86); mutton, carcases, 980,005 (4412,288); lamb, carcases,' 4,471,340 (4,358,166); pork, carcases, 130,941 (6W95); boneless beef, bags, 109,819 (1(!9,875).
