OVERDOSE OF ASPIRIN

It was stated at a Shored itch inquest recently, on Arthur Edward Ballain, licensed victualler, who died as the result of an overdose of aspirin, that he was in tho habit of drinking a bottle of whisky a day. The inquest had been adjourned for an analysis of the organs, and a doctor stated that about 100 grains of aspirin were found in'the body. Ballain, who had suffered .at times from delirium tremens, had been taking tho aspirin for influenza. The coroner recorded a verdict of " accidental death."
