ROTORUA NEWS
Saturday was an ideal day for the annual sports meeting of the Rotorua High School, which was held in the school grounds. A large number of both parents and friends attended and tea was served to them by the pupils. Included among the spectators were: Mrs. W. G. Harwood, Mrs. J. Learning, Mrs. L. Clarke, Mrs. A. C. Randerfion, Mrs. Parlane, Mrs. D. Steele, Mrs. H. Hardcastle, Mrs. G. Urquhart, Mrs. Eraser, Mrs. H. Roach, Mrs. S. 11. Hay, Mrs. Cotterill, Mrs. H. P. Ford, Mrs. A. G. Holland, Mrs. Stembridge, Mrs. McPherson, Mrs. Balsdon, Mrs. E. La Trobo Hill, Mrs. Meredith, Mrs. J. Herrold, Mrs. Barber, Mrs. Hutchins, Mrs. E. T. Johnstone, Mrs. E. Roe, Mrs. Humphreys, Mrs. E. Butt, Mrs. Ford, Mrs. Thomas, Mrs. McDonald, Mrs. Robertson and Mrs. Dunwoodie. Mrs. K. Siddell, Miss F. Siddell, Miss Pearson, of Masterton, and Mrs. G. Thornton, of Hastings, have been on a, motor tour of Rotorua, Wairnkei and Auckland. Mrs. M. Rudd and family, of Auckland, have taken a house in Rotorua for a month. Mrs. F. W. Wilkie, of Pukaki Street, is visiting Auckland for a, few days. Miss Jessie Home, of New Plymouth, has been spending a holiday in Rotorua. Miss Wade, of Timaru, is on a motor tour through Rotorua, Waikaremoana and Hawke's Bay. Mrs. Berridge Spencer, of Stanley Point, is spending a holiday in Rotorua. Miss K. Mears, of Hamilton, and Miss L. Tudehope, of Tauranga, are visiting Rotorua and are the guests of Sirs. E. G. Budd, Victoria Street.
