CHANGEABLE CONDITIONS SEAS ROUGH GENERALLY The Government meteorologist reported last evening as follows:—A depression i s crossing New Zealand to-day, but is being followed closely by another. No reports are available regarding the New Hebrides cyclone. Indications are for moderate to strong north to west winds, reaching gale force, in places and backing to south-west later in the south. Seas rather rough generally. In the eastern Tasman Sea, northwest to south-west winds prevailing, strong in southern portion with rough sens and elsewhere moderate, with smooth to moderate seas. The weather will be mainly fair in eastern districts, elsewhere changeable, with rain at times. Temperatures still mild. WEEK-END WEATHER Auckland.—There Avas a continuation of fine weather and a moderate northeast wind on Saturday. Yesterday the wind was from the north, and the sky' was continually overcast, frequent heavy showers being experienced. Conditions were very humid.
