CELEBRATION OF JUBILEE [by telegraph—press association] DUNEDIN. Monday The Salvation Army jubilee celebrations Ave re concluded yesterday, when a memorial tablet at the base of the Cargill Monument, where the Army banner was first unfurled in New Zealand on April 1, 1883, was unveiled by Commissioner Cunningham. Congratulatory messages were received from the Governor-General, General Higgins, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, the lit. Hon. J. G. Coates, and Mr. H. E. Holland. The final function was a mass meeting in tho Town Hall last evening. i
