NORTH AUCKLAND CLUB [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Saturday The North Auckland Homing PigeOn Club held a race from. Mercer to Whangarei. the race being the third of the young bird series. The air line distance is 123 miles, and the weather was bright and clear. The winner, a bird owped by L. Walker, covered the distance in 2 hours 57 mihutes 51 seconds. Results were:—L.
