remarkable expansion INCREASE IN PRODUCTION (Received March 31, 6.5 British Wireless RUGET, March 80 A report issued bv the Central Electricity Board shows an increase of more than 7 per cent last year in thf generation of electricity by the public supply systems. Britain now occupies the third place in the world for the production of electricity. In spite of the depression domestic and commercial electrification continues to make substantial progress. The cost of constructing the grid is estimated at about £.26,700,000. It comprises about 4000 miles of transmission lines.
