YEAR IN HAMILTON ELECTION OF OFFICERS [from ovr, own correspondent] HAMILTON, Friday A very satisfactory financial position was revealed at the' annual meeting of the Hamilton Boxing Association. There vras a credit balance at the bank of £25, the total asset* of the nssocia tion being £G2. Tho annual report stated that boxing seemed to have taken a new lease of life in Hamilton and there were now a great many boxing schools in tho town and surrounding districts. As a- mark of appreciation of their services to tl)e sport, Messrs. F; Baiter and W. H. Prickett were elected'life members.
Officors for the ensuing year were elected as follows:—Patron, Mr. R. T. Reid; president, Mr. H. I>. Caro: vice-preiiidents. Messrs. J. D. Carson, H. -W. Buvch, S. J, Rawlinson, J. Cheshire, S. Tyler, F. Saunders, S. Pratt, W. R. Shattock, C. 11. Mathieson and M. A. Scott; committee, Messrs, F, Williams. C. McDev;itt, A. Salter, H. Kippin, H. Morris, S. Pratt. J. Bowler, C. Bowler and F. Byrne; secretary, Mr. V. . Drummond; treasurer, Mr. A. Salter.
