Wednesday The annual meeting of (he Tc puke Golf Uuo was held last evening, when there was a good attendance, presided over by Mr W. K. Hookey. The election of officers for the ensuing yoar resulted:—Patron, Mr. J Dickson; president, Mr. I). George; vicepresident, Mr, W.B. Hookey; club captain, Mr. Webster; committee, Messrs. Crowley'. Gibbings, Douglas, Fulton and Dr. Randall; secretary, Mr. Hargreaves; auditor. Air. Eccleton. The dale of the opening day was left in the hands of the committee with a recommendation that it bo fixed for April 9. The outgoing committee reported that the links were in excellent condition. The course was laid out with the assistance of Mr. Redhead, of Rotorua, and- there were now 12 holes.
