THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL

ARRIVAL IN AUCKLAND His Excellency the Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, reached Auckland by motor-car from New Plymonth early last evening, and ' spent the night at the' Northern Club. His Excellency will leave by train this morning for the Bay of Islands, and to-morrow will preside at a meeting of the Waitangi t Trust Board, to be held in the Treaty House at Waitangi, He will spend Friday in the North, and will leave for Auckland on Saturday t morning. Sunday will be spent in Auckland, and on Monday His Excellency will attend the second cricket test match between England and New Zealand at Eden Park. He will leave on his return ; to Wellington by the limited express on Monday evening.
