ILLNESS OF ORGANISER [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday The honorary organiser of the Waikato Land Settlement Society, Ms. D. V. Bryant, returned to Hamilton from Auck land to-dny and immediately went to bed owing to an attack of influenza. Mr Bryant has been advised to remain in bed for the remainder of the week and, consequently, he will be unable to do further canvassing in connection with the society's scheme to complete the raising of £IO,OOO before Friday. Promises of contributions in excess of the amount required havq been received, hut as many of the promises have not been redeemed there is a possibility of & shortage occurring unless promptness is displayed by those who intend to give.
