NEWMAN'S FINE PLAY

Tom Newnan made his victory in the final of the Gold Cup billiards contest practically certain in tliis afternoon's session against Clark McConnchy with final breaks of 701 and 490. Playing almost faultlessly Newman ended the session with a score of 14,529, against McConachy's 10,362.
