WEDDINGS

KENNY—BRABANT A wedding of interest to a wide circle of friends was celebrated at St. Aidan s Church, Remuera, yesterday afternoon, when Miss Kitty Brabant, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Brabant, of Maungakiekic Avenue, was married to Mr. Eric H. W. Kenny, manager of the Bank of' New South Wales, Eketahuna, younger son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willoughby Kenny, of Auckland. 'lhe church had been charmingly decorated with pink flowers and the Rev. E. Connolly official ed. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a long graceful gown of pale pink flat crepe with swathings arid loops of crushed velvet, and picture hat of silk felt and crushed velvet to match. She carried a bouquet of pink bouvardia and tube-roses. The bridesmaids were Miss Dinah Isaacs and Mi ss Thelma Banks, of Cambridge, who wore frocks of pale pink crinkled crepe, pale pink mittens and small close-fitting hats. Their bouquets were of blue delphiniums and pink bouvardia. The best man was Mr. B. Chancy and the groomsman Mr. C. Dane. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Mount Eden Kiosk which had been charmingly decorated with piuk and blue flowers. Airs. W. IT. Brabant, the bride's mother, received wearing an ensemble of navy blue marocain and navy silk felt hat with white wing and white fur s'ole. Her bouquet was of pink flowers. Mrs. R. E. Isaacs, the bridegroom's sister, wore a frock of black georgette over pink, and black picture liat with ospreys. Her bouquet was of pink roses and rosette dahlias.

A quiet wedding was celebrated in St. Mary's Cathedral. Parnell, last evening, when Miss Edna Kissling, yountrer daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kissling, of Granville Terrace. Parnell, was .married to Mr Douglas Coutts, younger son of Mr and Mrs. Alfred Coutts, of Kimberley •Road Epsom. The hride was attended by Miss Barbara Griffiths and tlie bridegroom by Mr. Jack Odlin.
