CRASH THROUGH WINDOW

YOUNG MAN INJURED POLICE MAKE ARREST Passers-by in Karangahape Road at the Pitt Street intersection shortly after six o'clock last evening were startled to see a young man pushed with a terrific crash through the large plate-glass window of a departmental store on the corner. The young man fell prostrate among the display fixtures in the window but, although bleeding at the wrists and head, picked himself up and stepped back on to the footpath. He was immediately again thrown through the broken window. A middle-aged man was later arrested. The injured man was taken to a doctor s house and several stitches were inserted in wounds on his head and arms.
