CONCILIATION AGREEMENT

[BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON. Thursday

A full agreement was reached in Conciliation Council to-day in the New Zealand passenger transport drivers' dispute. The rates of wages agreed upon were:— Drivers, £4 5s weekly and learners £3 Bs. A 96-hour fortnight was fixed, 11 hours to be worked daily within a span of 13, time and a-quarter for tho first four hours a fortnight and time and a-half thereafter to be paid as overtime. Holidays are to bo 14 days annually on full pay.
