EARTHQUAKE SHOCK
WESTERN AUSTRALIAN TOWN ORIENTALS FRIGHTENED PERTH, Feb. 21 An earthquake was experienced at Broome, Western Australia, at 10.4 a.m. yesterday. The tremor lasted 20 seconds. In the Japanese and Chinese quarters of the town the residents rushed into the streets. Houses swayed and tanks rocked on their stands, but no substantial damage was done.
