The Waipiata is announced to leave Bluff on Friday for Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. OTOKIA TO PAY OF The Union Company's tanker Otokia, which is completing discharge of her cargo of bulk oil from San Pedro at Port Chal- , mers, is to pay off and bo laid up. THE PORT PIRIE The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Pirie, which left the United Kingdom on January 8 for Port Kembla, in ballast, to load homeward, is announced to load at Auckland .next Monday. MARAMA AT SYDNEY The Union Company's intercolonial steamer Marama arrived at Sydney from Auckland early yesterday morning. The vessel is to sail for Wellington on Friday, arriving here next Tuesday, KARTIGI'S LOADING The Union Company's eteamer Kartigi is announced to load at Adelaide in the second week in March, completing at Melbourne for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Ne~w Plymouth and Tarakohe, which she will probably visit in that order. _____ NIAGARA CONTINUES VOYAGE In continuation of her voyage from Vancouver, via Honolulu and Suva, the Royal Mail liner Niagara sailed shortly after five o'clock yesterday afternoon with passengers, mail and cargo for Sydney. The vessel is due at Sydney on Saturday morning. KARAMEA AT LAS PALMAS The Shaw, Savill and Albion motor-ship Karamea, en route from West of England ports to New Zealand, via Capetown, is reported to have reached Las Palmas. The vessel is due in the Dominion about March 27. TANKER NEW ZEALAND With a cargo of bulk oil for the Texas Oil Company, the tanker New Zealand is scheduled to reach Auckland from Pacific Coast ports on March 25. After unloading the local portion of her oil, the New Zealand will proeed to Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. PASSENGERS BY MALOJA The following passengers havo booked through to New Zealand by the Maloja, which left London on January 13 for Australian ports and arrived at on February 14:—Mrs. and Miss Buddie, Mr. and Mrs. Hutton, Mrs. and Miss Perrin, Miss Neagle, Mr. and Mrs. Starnes. CARGO FROM AUSTRALIA With cargo from Melbourne, the Union Company's steamer Kaimiro loft New Plymouth at 10 o'clock on Monday evening. The vessel is due at Auckland to-morrow evening or Friday morning, and after discharge here will proceed to Greymouth to Joad. THE KETCH SEAFARER The ketch Seafarer, which arrived from Suva early in January and w,-|; to have sailed yesterday on the return voyage to Fiji, d;d not leave port on ac:ount of bead winds, _ remaining at Central Whr»rf. The yacht is expected to clear Auckland to-day if the wind changes from the northerly quarter. KENT SAILED The Federal Line steamer Kent, which loaded for West Coast ports of the United Kingdom at Queen's Wharf, sailed shortly after noon yesterday for Gisborne to continue loading. The vessel is to complete at Napier and Wellington, and is expected to clear Wellington on March 1 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow. PASSAT DELAYED _ The Finnish four-masted barque Passat, which was expected to sail yesterday morning for Wallaroo and Port Broughton, SoutJi Australia, to load wheat for the United Kingdom, was delayed on account of head winds and did not clear port. If the wind is favourable she will leave to-day. WAITEMATA SAILING The steamer Waitemata, which was purchased by a Japanese buyer last year, and which has been lying in the stream, was brought alongside the Japanese steamer Ryoka Maru at King's Wharf yesterday to load coal and take on stores. The vessel is scheduled to sail for Japan direct at five o'clock this afternoon. WARSHIPS DEPART The two cruisers attached to the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy, H.M.S. Diomede and H.M.S. Dunedin, sailed shortly after nine o'clock yesterday morning for Russell. The warships will proceed from Russell to Whangaroa and then undertake Southern cruises. The Diomede will return to Auckland on April 5 and the Dunedin early in May. PIAKO TO LOAD The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Piako was expected to reach Oamaru last night to commence loading for the United Kingdom. The vessel is to load at Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wanganui nitd Wellington, clearing Wellington about March 11 for London, Manchester, Liverpool and Avonmouth, via Montevideo and Las Palmas.
