DENTAL CLINIC FINANCE
DIFFICULTY AT WAIHI AN APPEAL TO PARENTS [by TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] WAIHI, Tuesday When accounts were before the Waihi Schools Dental Clinic Committee last evening it was shown that the balance in hand amounted to only a little over £4, while outstanding obligations to thp end of tho financial year, March 31, included £22 10s. due to the department as the committee's share of the nurse's salary. With no source of revenue in sight, tho position was viewed with grave concorn. It was decided to appeal to the parents whoso children have benefited from treatment at the clinic. If support is not forthcoining the committee will consider closing tho clinic." An offer by ,the manager of ' a theatro to assist the funds by giving a pictuio entertainment was gratefully accepted.
