TO-DAY'S PKOGKAMME GOOD FIELDS ENGAGED THE MACKENZIE HANDICAP BE VIEW OF THE PROSPECTS The .Auckland Trotting Club's February meeting concludes at. Alexandra Park, Epsom, to-day when, except, in one race, the fields'are of useful size. The principal events are the Mackenzie and Forbes Handicaps, in which high-class horses are engaged. In these, as in the other races, the form disclosed on Saturday should prove a/ useful guide. Kohewah should be better for Saturday's race, while Nelson Pirate, in spite of his failure on the first day, will be fancied. Mattie Herbilwyn may run well again, but is a, little lame. First Flight will be the danger and may go a little better than she did on Saturday, while Brentlight, on his last two miles' effort at Epsom, will be troublesome. Kewpie's Guy has now struck form and has good prospects, and Auto Machine reads better than Peter Pirate.
