WEEK-END WEATHER
CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH Auckland.—Although the weather was fine on Saturday, sultry conditions were experienced and the day was very warm, with little breeze. Yesterday was again fin# and sultry, with a light wind, which died away before noon. The barometer showed little movement during the weekend, ranking from 29.85 in. to 29-90 in. Wellington.—Northerly weather continued over the week-end. Saturday nioming was overcast, but the sky cleare before mid-day. Yesterday the wind w;is strong and there was bright sunshine with passing clouds. Dunedin.—Fine weather with passing clouds and sunshine prevailed on Saturday. The wind was light and vl j™' ® and the maximum temperature was 7/ & grees. A light shower fell yesterday morning and the remainder of the day was but dull. The barometer was steady 29.90 in.
